Mobile Phone Screensaver from Cascata is a new feature that allows you to customize and brand your handsets screen.

Cascatas ScreenSaver Control Module works just like the ordinary screensaver on the Series60 or Symbian-based UIQ handsets. Each different Plug-in provides a wealth of different and exciting features to take over from the standard screensaver on the handset - and we have hundreds for you to choose from! You can choose to display:

Clock - display analogue date and time

Slideshow - show off fantastic images running in sequence

Photo Album - choose your favourite picture

Animation - quirky random animations running all over the screen!

Own Text - write your own personal message

The Default Plug-in that comes with the ScreenSaver Control Module displays an analogue Clock with active hands that move in time to the phones internal clock and a date window. Additional FREE and commercial Plug-ins are all available from the MyMobileScreensaver.com website where you can find hundreds of different Screensaver Plug-ins to suit your taste!

The Cascata ScreenSaver Control Module is activated as soon as the handset is turned on and after a specified inactivity timeout (1 minute or so) the selected screensaver Plug-in is displayed. However, to save battery life you can choose to deactivate it after a pre-defined period (between 30, 60 or 120 minutes) where the default screensaver will be displayed.
